This trek offers breathtaking views of Mount Everest, charming communities, serene monasteries, friendly Sherpa people, and their rich cultural heritage.
Alternatively, a one-way trip to Lukla may be avoided by exploring the Himalayas through Salleri. Trekkers who have more extended vacations but want to go on a cheap might do the Everest Gokyo trek from Salleri. It is an excursion with less congested Everest Base Camp hiking paths. From Kathmandu to Salleri, you may take a bus or jeep, passing people of different ethnicities, banding river sides, and stunning mountain views.
There are the flights direct from Kathmandu to Lukla and Lukla to Kathmandu. But in big seasons, we have to go to another small airport of Manthali (Ramechap) to take the planes to Lukla and back to Kathmandu as well as with around 4/5 hours of vehicules.

What are the peaks from Gokyo Ri?

From Gokyo Ri it is possible to see five 8,000-metre peaks: Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kangchenjunga, and Cho Oyu. The Gokyo Lakes are in the area. The Gokyo trek is a fairly popular trekking route.

Is Gokyo Ri difficult?

The Gokyo lake trek is moderately difficult. You need to be in good shape and stamina for this trek as it requires walking about 5 to 6 hours, excluding the acclimation days. The rugged trails, steep terrains, and high passes prove to be more burdensome.

Is Chola pass difficult?

Cho La pass (5420 m) Famous High Pass in Everest
Cho La Pass is one of the most extreme mountain passes that hikers walk during three passes trek. It's pretty challenging with super tricky trails that run hills, valleys, and mountains. The route winds up switchbacks through forests and rocky terrains before running along the glacial moraine.
