Island Peak

Imja Tse, better known as Island Peak, is a mountain in Sagarmatha National Park in the Himalayas of eastern Nepal. The peak was named Island Peak in 1953 by members of the British Mount Everest expedition because it appears as an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche.
Climbing the Island peak or Imja Tse summit is not really technically difficult, however, the layer of snow and the maze of crevasses can slow down the walk towards the final ridge. Also, it is advisable to have good technical experience in high mountains.
Magnificent trekking peak to discover the peaks of the Khumbu region. This expedition can include access to Everest base camp and the discovery of Lake Gokyo by taking the Cholapass trek route.
